A beloved Magic City tradition is coming back on August 2nd.

Today, the Birmingham Museum of Art (BMA) announced the summer return of its signature event — Art On The Rocks.

Headliner: Ric Wilson

A celebration of art, music, and culture, the long-awaited happening will be headlined by Ric Wilson, a Chicago-based artist known for his infectious energy and unique blend of hip-hop, funk and soul.

“We are excited to bring back Art On The Rocks and offer our community an evening of creativity, inspiration, and fun. With Ric Wilson as our featured musical guest, this year’s event promises to be one of our most memorable yet. We look forward to welcoming visitors for a night of art, music, and celebration.”

In addition to the live performance, Art On The Rocks will also feature:

  • Hands-on workshops
  • Captivating performances by local artists

Attendees are also allowed to explore the museum’s extensive collections and special exhibitions.

Tickets? For BMA members Art On The Rocks is half-price for general admission and VIP tickets.

  • Museum Members: $25
  • General Admission: $50
  • Members VIP Admission: $40 (includes exclusive access to a private lounge and
    complimentary beverages)
  • VIP Admission: $80
