Krystal opens new burger joint in Calera

Krystal, the legendary burger joint founded in Chattanooga 92 years ago, has opened a new location in Calera (159 County Rd. 87, Calera, AL. 35040). 

The newest restaurant is connected to a Valero convenience store off exit 234 on I-65.

2nd new Krystal in 18 months

The Calera site, which opened last week, is the 2nd Krystal location to move into the Birmingham Metro area over the past 18 months. In January 2023, the company opened their first new Alabama franchise in six years in Center Point.

Operation days and hours

The restaurant offers dine-in, drive-thru, and will launch online ordering in the coming weeks.
