Position Summary
- Provide administrative support to the Major Gifts Team and Major Gifts Volunteers.
Responsibilities
- Written and verbal communication with volunteers and donors.
- Filing, data entry, and data management.
- Preparation of mailings and training materials.
- Record keeping and purchase orders.
- Customer service and donor correspondence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong administrative and clerical skills.
- Effective phone communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Genuine interest in the United Way mission.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and time management.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or some college preferred).
Experience:
- Administrative experience required; two years preferred.
- Experience with high-end donors and volunteers preferred.
Required:
- Reliable transportation.
- Proof of automobile insurance.
- Valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions
- Normal office environment.
- Some travel and occasional overtime.
