Congrats, Reg! In addition to this exciting milestone, we can’t wait to have Scott ‘Reg’ Register and Will Lochamy of The Morning Blend at our next BOLD Speaker Series!

It was a night to remember.
A full house. Avondale Brewery had to put out extra chairs. The crowd started arriving 30 minutes early, to secure good seats. And Dr. Jim McClintock captivated the audience of 75+ for 50 minutes with a passionate talk about Antarctica, climate change, solutions and the future.
“Think globally. Act locally.”
Words to live by, and you can do just that, on Tuesday, December 6th, 5:30, at the Avondale Brewery by attending the Bham Now BOLD Series featuring Jim McClintock. (purchase tickets here)
UAB world renowned explorer, researcher and author Jim McClintock will be taking the attendees on a virtual tour of Antarctica. He will bear witness to the rapid changes that are occurring in our southernmost continent and the living lab that is disappearing as a result of climate change.
One of the Bham Now BOLD Series special features is the opportunity, for the speaker to choose a charity in which a portion of the proceeds will be donated. McClintock selected Hand in Paw – one of Birmingham’s most amazing and kindhearted organizations. Checkout the slideshow above and the videos about this program that serves nearly 100,000 of our neighbors in the Birmingham region.
It will be a special night globally and locally.
Please join us!
Here are Hand in Paw’s Videos
Haisley Beard Smith I heard him speak about 6 years ago and he is phenomenal. A local treasure, for sure.
Liz Rozzelle He spoke at the Birmingham Audubon banquet a few years ago. Last week we had dinner at Food Bar and we said hello to him. Local celebrity!
Will Marble This should be good.
