Wednesday Night Hop with Steel City Swing

Grab your friends and get ready for a night of dancing with Steel City Swing!

Whether you want to learn how to swing dance for the first time or you want to dive deeper into your technique, musicality, and connection, we want to see you out on the dance floor dancing with us! All skill levels are welcome and you don’t need to bring a partner (but you’re more than welcome to bring one) to get started.

We’ll start off with our lessons and then end with some social dancing. No experience required for the beginner lesson and no partner required for either lesson (we rotate partners during lessons to help you learn and make friends).

7:00 – 8:00 PM Beginner Lesson
8:00 – 8:30 PM Social Dancing
Cost: Pay What You Can donation, suggested $7-10

NOTE: Due to increased security measures at the LJCC, a picture ID is required to check in at the Welcome Center.

As a reminder, we ask that you please stay home if you are displaying any signs of being sick. You will be asked to leave if you come to our events visibly sick. We love you and want to dance with you, but dancing is not worth spreading disease to our dance community and we will be forced to cancel if our limited staff gets sick. We will happily welcome you back when you’re feeling better!
