Lunch Provided Both Days!
You may work with oils or soft pastels, or both. We will explore drawing, composition, anatomy, proportion, value, color and medium application. Emphasis will be on developing form using light and shadow. My step-by-step method will help you simplify the complicated. If you are bewildered by color or are wanting to speed up and become looser in your work, you will definitely benefit from this class. At the end of the first day we will have a short photo session with the model. You can use your digital camera, smart phone or iPad to photograph her. From the many pictures you take, you’ll choose 1 or 2 (depending on how fast you work) to work from during class on the second day. If using a camera or phone to photograph, I prefer you use an ipad for your reference during class, or get a print from you home printer or a nearby drug store. Please bring $15 cash to the class for the model. I do not want you working from your phone.
