Mutt Strut: Dog-Friendly 5K & Fun Run

Hand in Paw’s 15th Annual Mutt Strut is Saturday, April 5, at Homewood Central Park. Come be part of Birmingham’s premier dog-friendly outdoor event! This fun-filled day features a 5K and 1-mile fun run, open to runners, walkers, and participants of all ages and abilities. With an energetic 80s fitness theme, complete with neon colors, spandex, and big hair, it’s a pawsome way to stay active and support a great cause. Mutt Strut raises critical funds for Hand in Paw’s Animal-Assisted Therapy programs, which bring comfort and joy to individuals facing emotional and physical challenges across North Central Alabama and Tuscaloosa. In addition to the races, the event will feature a Vendor Village, a costume contest, live entertainment by Magic City Disco, food trucks, and a Kid Zone for young participants.
