MOCAFI, FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY FIRM AIMING TO CLOSE THE RACIAL WEALTH GAP BRINGS FINANCIAL LITERACY EVENT TO BESSEMER

On Saturday, June 27th from 10am to 1pm, MoCaFi, a fintech firm aiming to close the racial wealth gap, is hosting an event to engage with local communities on building pathways to wealth. Hosted by Isis Jones, Community Organizer and Media Personality with V94.9 and 98.7 KISS in Birmingham, the free event is open to the public and will feature 1-on-1 financial coaching sessions with participation from the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), PinkTopps, and Prosperity Tax, and food from local restaurant Fat Charles. On Our Block is part of MoCaFi’s neighborhood banking movement, meeting underbanked communities where they are to discuss how they can level up their finances.
