Mardi Gras in Birmingham? Not Exactly, But This Carnival-Themed Cocktail bar will transport you to the Big Easy.

Birmingham, Alabama – (January 25, 2024) – Get ready to Laissez les bons temps rouler! A vibrant and festive carnival-themed experience is coming to downtown Birmingham, and it’s bringing the spirit of Mardi Gras with it. From January 25 to February 13, The Margaret’s vibe will be more New Orleans than ever, complete with colorful décor, music, and a cocktail menu that will thrill your taste buds.

This is a fun way to escape the ordinary and experience the magic of Mardi Gras. Guests can sip on creative cocktails like the “Fleur De Lis,” a hurricane and a grasshopper, all while soaking up the festive atmosphere. There will also be a gumbo cookoff on February 11 and second line parade/bar crawl with other downtown bars on Fat Tuesday, February 13.

The Margaret is donating $1 for every hurricane and frozen Irish coffee sold during Carnival season to the Firehouse Shelter.
