Irondale Music Fest- FREE Concert

Mayor James D. Stewart, Jr. will host the 3rd Annual City of Irondale Music Festival on Saturday, September 28, 2024. It will be a celebration of Irondale’s 137th Birthday. The Music Festival will take place at Beacon Park, with gates opening at 2:00 p.m., and the show beginning at 3:00 p.m. Admission is absolutely free, and no tickets are needed to come enjoy the show.

The Music Festival Line-Up Includes:
Ruben Studdard, American Idol Winner & Grammy Award Nominee
Kirk Whalum, Saxophonist, toured with Whitney Houston & soloed on “I Will Always Love You”
Ken Ford, Violinist, has recorded with Bruno Mars, Ledisi, Maxwell and others
Emily Joseph Band, Former Female Lead Vocalist for the BB King’s All-Star Band
Element XI, Huntsville based band known for their unique blend of electro-funk-hop soul

The Music Festival is a part of a three-concert series, which included Jazz Fest on August 17, 2024, and will feature Country Fest on November 2, 2024. Country Fest will be headlined by Billboard-charting artist Matt Stell.

Stewart, Jr. “Events like this play an integral role in helping us to achieve our mission of building community and building the future. We’ve incorporated music of all genres because we want people to know that our City has something for everyone. Whether you like historic areas like the Irondale Café, vast green spaces with Ruffner Mountain and the Cahaba River, or luxury car shopping at the Auto Mall, Irondale has it all.”
