$225 for 5 Classes, Includes Clay!
Learn the basics of clay with Larry Gibson in this Introduction to Clay Class. Students will learn how to hand build as well as use the wheel. Learn different techniques such as usings coils, slab building, wheel throwing and more. Students will complete at least 2 projects every session! Small class size accommodates both beginning and intermediate students and allows each person to work at their own pace under the teacher’s guidance.
Larry Gibson is a veteran teacher with the Vestavia Hills School System, where he was awarded teacher of the year award. He has taught community clay classes for 15 years, is a two-time recipient of the Alabama Art Education Association “Art Teacher of the Year” award and has trained over 30 student interns over his teaching career. Larry’s students have earned numerous awards and have gone into a multitude of art careers, including- fashion design, graphic design, printmaking, ceramics, photography, and art education!
