Intro to Casting – Weekend Workshop

Learn the basics of casting aluminum in this weekend workshop, taught by Sloss’ Metal Artists! Participants will have the choice of lightswitch plate or trinket dish. Our artists will help you make it your own by sculpting wax decorations, adding found objects, or even carving directly into the molds. Once completed, our team will help you cast your creation in aluminum! By the end of the workshop, participants will have learned basic sculpting, moldmaking, and casting processes. All materials and tools will be provided.

This workshop is for all skill levels, no experience necessary.

This workshop is from 10:00-4:00PM, Saturay and Sunday.

This workshop is available for participants aged 16+ (a parent or legal guardian must be available to sign the waiver). Please contact us for information regarding younger participants.
