Girls on the Run BHAM 5K Tutu Run

We are thrilled to celebrate the amazing girls in our Spring 2024 program and the wonderful community that supports them at the annual Girls on the Run Birmingham 5K Tutu Run!
The event will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 8:00am. The course begins and ends at Patriot Park in Homewood, AL a suburb just south of Birmingham just off I-65. The address is 710 Oak Grove Rd, Homewood, AL 35209.
This event is not competitive. While you can check your times, no winners will be announced nor will awards be given. This event is open to the public and we encourage all in the community to participate – you can run, walk or skip! The morning festivities are centered around more than 160 elementary school girls across the Birmingham region that are celebrating the completion of the Spring 2024 season of Girls on the Run by completing this celebratory 5K. Program participants will not be chip timed.
Costumes (and tutus, of course!) are encouraged. Tutus will be available for sale at registration.
Look for signs of encouragement along the course and a water stop approximately halfway through the race. We are so excited to see all the joyful, healthy and confident girls of the GOTR Spring 2024 program succeed, and we want you to join us in celebrating them!
CANCELLATION STATEMENT: This event will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds. Registration fees will be considered a donation to Girls on the Run Birmingham.
