Gardening Expo Day in Leeds, AL

On Saturday, Sept 30, we will have multiple organizations and experts here to educate and answer your questions about gardening, specifically with native plants and the best way to landscape responsibly for the least damaging impact on the ecosystem. Everyone in the area loves the Cahaba River, and we welcome the Cahaba Riverkeeper organization to discuss how to best manage our impact on the river and all of its diverse species. Recreative Natives will be here with Alabama native plants, as well gardening expert Sandra Reaves with Josie Gladys Gardens.

Our panel-style discussion will begin at noon. Be sure to check the Facebook event for updates on participant schedules for presentations/demos followed by Q&A. Be sure to bring your questions and something to take notes. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn!

It may be fall, but we expect this event to continue to grow like a spring weed!
