Creatives Night Out: The Series kicks off with a Collaboration between Magic City Fashion Week and Magic City Mercantile!

Birmingham, AL, August 19th, 2023 – Mark your calendars for a fashionable evening supporting creativity, community, and style as Magic City Fashion Week joins forces with Magic City Mercantile for an exclusive event, “Creatives Night Out” The event is set to take place on August 19th, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the location of Magic City Mercantile, situated at 1314 20th St S, Unit 100, Birmingham, AL 35205.
“Creatives Night Out” is an opportunity for the vibrant and imaginative creatives of the Magic City to connect, build a close-knit community, and network while simultaneously supporting local businesses. Embracing the spirit of collaboration, this event aims to bridge the gap between the dynamic world of fashion and the thriving entrepreneurial scene, fostering an environment of creativity, inspiration, and innovation.
Participants will be treated to a memorable evening that combines shopping, exclusive insights on upcoming Magic City Fashion Week events, and an in-store showcase of Magic City Mercantile’s custom pieces. Tickets, one admission of $20, includes a glass of wine, refreshments, exclusive insight on upcoming MCFW events, and an exclusive in-store showcase of Magic City Mercantile’s custom pieces.
The core mission of “Creatives Night Out” is to ignite and amplify the creative energy of Birmingham, bringing together the city’s innovative individuals in a celebration of artistry and vision. By deepening Magic City Fashion Week’s ties with local retailers, this collaboration aims to empower and elevate designers, sustainable fashion initiatives, and the broader creative community, collectively propelling them towards a brighter future.

Founded in 2017 by Daniel Grier, Magic City Fashion Week aims to cultivate, connect, and showcase the artistic community of Birmingham, AL through fashion. The first retailer to be featured during the series this year is Magic City Mercantile. More than vintage, MCM is a vintage, streetwear, sneakers and even custom jewelry shop located in the heart of Five Points South and is a must stop shop for any visitor to the city.
