Contra Dance

Birmingham FOOTMAD is hosting a Contra Dance on November 25th.
If you have never been to a Contra Dance, you don’t know what you are missing! SO MUCH FUN. All ages are welcome.
Our Band for this dance is REELPLAY with calling by Beadle.
We recommend you were comfortable clothes and shoes that will stay on your feet. If you find yourself patting your foot or moving to good music, if you can walk and listen, then you can do all of our dances. Of course you can improve your skills as you gain experience, but nothing prevents even true beginners from dancing and having a good time. We recommend that you show up at 7 for a free lesson if you are new to Contra. Our more experienced dancers will gladly help you with all of our dances and we love to have beginning dancers attend.
