Consent for Kids Fair

Join us for a fun day of activities and facilitated dialogue about body boundaries, safety, communication and health. We will have resources for kids of all ages and their parents and/or caregivers! Health education can be a scary topic to cover at home– but we are here to help with medically-accurate and age-appropriate lessons and vocabulary on consent communication that can be used in every day interactions, such as greetings and goodbyes, when asking a friend to play and when sharing a photo on social media.

Some activities include:
*Consent Story Hour with books like “C is for Consent,” “Will Ladybug Hug?” “Don’t Hug Doug”; “Can I Give You A Squish?” and “Don’t Touch My Hair!”
*Coloring Table for learning about anatomy
*Gender Expression Photobooth
*Parent Resources
*Face painting
*Snacks
*Pin the Ovary on the Fallopian Tube
*Body Autonomy Freeze Dance
We will have resources, books and giveaways as well as many expert volunteers to help answer questions you may have around reproductive health! This event is free and open to the public.
We are partnering with TAKE Bham, Yellowhammer Fund, URGE and Planned Parenthood to put on this event!
