Church International to Host Gift Giveaway for
North Jefferson County Residents to Help Families in Need Have a “Christmas To Remember”
Inaugural Event on Saturday, December 9 at 2 p.m.
WARRIOR, Ala., (November 27, 2023) – Church International is hosting an inaugural gift giveaway for North Jefferson County residents on December 9, 2023 at 2 p.m. at 213 Kemp Drive in Warrior, Alabama. The event, titled Christmas on the Red Brick Street, will benefit families who are in need of a little extra help this Christmas.
Pastor Robin R. Bullock knows firsthand what it’s like to want to give your children a memorable Christmas when you don’t have the means. “When my oldest daughter Amber was just a toddler I wanted so badly to be able to give her a Christmas present that we simply couldn’t afford,” shared Bullock. “Our hope is that this event provides families in our community with the joy of Christmas and bless those that are in need this holiday season.”
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to visit with the children, along with hot chocolate and fresh cookies. The gift giveaway includes everything from electronics and bicycles to dolls and sports equipment. Parents or guardians that present an ID will be given a ticket for each child in their care which can be used to choose a gift that will be in the shopping area on the street. Local businesses also participating include Dowdle Food Truck, Baja Food Truck,Cookie Fix, Warrior River Coffee and more!
