AWS FEST Benefit Concert

Alabama Waldorf School is thrilled to announce its 5th Annual AWS FEST. This festival-style event invites Birmingham families and friends to listen to local bands with friends! This year’s AWS FEST will take place on Saturday, May 11, from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Ferus on 41st, located at 430 41st St S. in Avondale.

AWS FEST is a family-friendly festival-style afternoon that features local bands, children’s activities, food, and friends. This event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, so invite your friends and neighbors! All funds raised benefit Alabama Waldorf School and directly support a vibrant education for the children we love — providing classroom supplies, playground maintenance, teacher training, tuition assistance, and more.

Highlights of the 2024 AWS FEST Include:

Live Music from Local Bands: Shaheed and DJ Supreme, Sarah Lee Langford, The Yellow Dandies, Kate Hollingsworth, Results of Adults, and Nowhere Squares.

Children’s Activities: Children can engage in fun activities, including face painting, fairy hair, glitter tattoos, bracelet making, and more!

Delicious Food and Drinks: Enjoy sandwiches, salads, snacks, and drinks from Ferus on 41st! Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available. No outside food or drink, please.

All are welcome! Admission to AWS FEST at Ferus on 41st is $25 for adults, and children 14 and under are FREE. This is a wonderful opportunity to welcome and spend quality time with family and friends. All are welcome here. We’re thrilled to share this season of giving with you.
