11th Annual Holocaust in Film Series 2024: “One Life”

Join the Alabama Holocaust Education Center at Sidewalk Cinema for this advance screening of “One Life.” Starring Academy Award winner Sir Anthony Hopkins, “One Life” tells the true story of Sir Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton, a young London stock broker, who rescued 669 children from the Nazis. Our screening will include a post-film conversation with one of Sir Winton’s family friends, the daughter of a Holocaust Survivor Nicholas rescued, and other second-generation Survivors. Join us for this remarkable celebration of sacrifice, salvation, and humanity.
