Stop by Moss Rock Festival to say hello to this year’s Featured Artist Penny Dobson. (Moss Rock Festival)

At Moss Rock Festival, you’ll find 100 curated artists across many different mediums presenting bodies of work inspired by the environment, with themes of conservation and pieces that incorporate found or up-cycled objects.

This year’s Featured Artist, Penny Dobson from Tuscaloosa, is an excellent representation of Moss Rock’s theme. She blends natural, found and hand-painted elements to invoke a sense of wonder with her art. To add a personal touch, Penny signs each piece with a penny from 1970, the year she was born.

Sprinkled among the artists at Moss Rock Festival, you’ll also find smart living and design exhibitors featuring fiber arts, furniture and functional crafts highlighting the natural themes of the festival. Plus, you can fuel your festival experience at The Sweetery and food trucks corralled at the Festival Cafe.
