What else is coming to Pratt City?
Two Sistah’s Coffee, newly opened in Pratt City’s Carline Historic District, is just the beginning for owner Joshua Perdue.
For folks unfamiliar with Pratt City, it was established in 1887 and home at the time to the largest mining complex in the state of Alabama. Pratt City was incorporated as a city in 1891 and annexed into Birmingham, like numerous neighborhoods around The Magic City, in 1910.
The building where the coffee shop resides is in the heart of Pratt City. Perdue intends to add three additional businesses at the site in the coming year. They are:
- Grocery store
- Personal care & professional suites
- Business service center
“The coffee shop is phase one of four phases that we’re gonna have here. My goal is to not just to bring back a building, but to bring back an entire area together.”
Joshua Perdue, owner of Two Sistah’s Coffee
