Paige and Jack have known each other for 12 years, since they were 16. In 2023, they began uploading YouTube videos about their travel to India. They told us their posts, which received a few thousand likes initially, blossomed into a full time job.

They have traveled all around the world, from Pakistan and China to the U.S.

But of all the places they visited, Birmingham has captured their hearts.

“We checked into our hotel at 4PM and we walked down 20th. We stopped by the Alabama Peanut Company, and saw Paramount. We were enamored by it. The old school cobblestone road, and all the amazing buildings — the City Federal, the heaviest corner in the World. I was like, ‘This is so cool.’”

“Then we came to a Legion game. We just loved it. The group of fans welcomed us in. This is such a good club, Then what really hit the nail on the head was at the end of the game, they allowed the fans onto the pitch to meet the players and the manager— truly connected with the club. I thought that was top class.”

Since then, Jack and Paige have made The Magic City their hub for all their travel in the South, returning regularly.

Below are some of their videos, including a visit with Mountain Brook’s Mayor Graham Smith.

Mayor Smith enthusively describes the couple as warm and genuine.

“They are the best advertising for the state of Alabama. They’re very sophisticated global travelers, and we’re very lucky to have them choose Alabama as something that they highlight so graciously.”

After the Legion game, when asked why they continue to return to Birmingham. Jack smiled and said:

“Every time we come back here, we stay longer. That’s the biggest compliment I can give to a city.”
