Birmingham’s tech scene keeps getting bigger—and this summer, one of the South’s premier tech events is returning to The Magic City.

From June 24-26, Sloss Tech will bring more than 1,400 founders, developers, creatives, investors and industry leaders to downtown Birmingham for three days of big ideas, networking and hands-on experiences.

Sloss Tech has become one of the city’s signature events, showcasing not only where technology is headed, but why Birmingham continues growing as a hub for startups, innovation and talent. Read on for everything you need to know, including interesting guest speakers, what to expect and how to secure your tickets.

Sloss Tech’s innovation mission in Alabama

Sloss Tech is hosted by TechBirmingham in partnership with Innovate Alabama, helping put Alabama on the map as a growing destination for tech and entrepreneurship.

But unlike some conferences that can feel overly corporate or hard to break into, Sloss Tech leans into connection and community. You’ll find startup founders chatting with students, developers swapping ideas and business leaders sharing real-world insight.

The conference is designed for:

  • Founders looking to meet investors, customers + collaborators
  • Business + community leaders focused on growing innovation across the South
  • Developers + engineers wanting deeper technical content through Sloss.Tech/Dev in partnership with BASE (Birmingham Area Software Enthusiasts)
  • Students + early-career professionals exploring opportunities through Next In Tech

3 days of panels + parties across downtown Birmingham

One of the best perks about Sloss Tech is that it doesn’t stay inside one building all day long. The event spreads across downtown Birmingham with keynote sessions, networking events and social experiences that make the city itself feel part of the conference.

Over the three days, you can expect:

  • Sloss.Tech/Ideas Pitch Competition presented by Regions Foundation
