Hosted by the Vulcan Junior Board, Movies on the Mountain is one of Birmingham’s favorite seasonal traditions, bringing together family-friendly films, scenic views of the Magic City skyline and community fun atop Red Mountain.
Next up: Movie night is bringing the nostalgia with “Space Jam,” everyone’s favorite ‘90s basketball classic. On Saturday, June 13, gather the whole family to watch the iconic chaos unfold as the Looney Tunes team up with basketball superstar Michael Jordan to take on a team of alien invaders.

You may drive past the iconic Vulcan statue every day, but did you know Vulcan Park is free and open to the public seven days a week? When the kids get restless this summer, pack a picnic to enjoy on the grassy lawn or take a hike down Vulcan Trail (it’s paved—perfect for strollers!).
