Founded in 2006, Nana Funks has been a mainstay of the Lakeview entertainment district for two decades. Located next to Innisfree Irish Pub in the Avon Place at 708 29th St S, Nana Funks has long been a popular late-night haunt for locals and visitors alike.

The Nana Funks team announced the news on social media, stating:

‼️ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

After so many unforgettable nights, incredible memories, and relationships we’ll carry with us forever, the time has come for us to say goodbye.

This upcoming weekend will be Nana Funks final weekend of operation. 💔

To every customer who became family, every familiar face at the bar, every DJ, every staff member, and everyone who chose to spend their nights with us… THANK YOU. You made Nana Funks what it was.

We’ve truly enjoyed the good times, the people, and the relationships built within these walls more than words can say.

Come get funky with us one last time this weekend as we celebrate the end of an era the only way we know how. 🖤

With love & gratitude,

Nana Funks management

Nana Funks will remain open this weekend before closing permanently after Sunday, May 24.
