One of the coolest parts of the market is getting to meet the people behind the products. This season, two longtime vendors are returning with top selling specialties and plenty more reasons to add them to your shopping route.
1. Sweetz and Such returns with homemade favorites

At the Irondale Farmers’ & Makers Market, Pamela Kennedy’s Sweetz and Such has become a must-stop for fresh-baked treats and seasonal crowd-pleasers.
“I’ve been a vendor since the market started, and I keep coming back because the community supports us. I have customers who look for me every year, and I’m always glad to see them.”

Here’s what to look for at her booth this season:

When things are buzzing at the Irondale Farmers’ & Makers Market, it’s often thanks to Bald Rock Bees.
David Brasher, owner of the family-run apiary and a Master Beekeeper with nearly 13 years of experience, has been part of the market since it launched four years ago.
“Every market feels like a family reunion where I get to see familiar faces, catch up with longtime friends and meet new people. Being a local beekeeper has created some truly amazing friendships over the years.”
David Brasher of Bald Rock Bees
Bald Rock Bees specializes in raw, unfiltered honey straight from the hive, including customer-favorite infused varieties like:
- Lemon honey
- Sweet heat honey
- Seasonal small-batch specialties
“Being a small family apiary, we take pride in creating handcrafted products. People appreciate knowing exactly where their food comes from and the care that goes into every jar.”
