The Magic Cityโ€™s most whimsical race โ€” the Red Shoe Run: Rockinโ€™ 5K presented by McDonaldโ€™s for Ronald McDonald House Alabamaโ€” was a huge success.

Supporting Ronald McDonald House Alabama

Held on April 11th, the annual event in downtown Birmingham was not only a foot race for a good cause, it was also a joyful moment and respite for the families, friends and supporters of Ronald McDonald House.

What were the final tallies from the event? Check it out:

  • $101,190 raised
  • 675 nights families receive comfort care at Ronald McDonald House free of charge from the fundraiser
  • 885 runners participatedย 
  • 70+ teams participated
