Think the Birmingham area has had its pickleball fill? Guess again! Pickle & Pour in Crestwood is the latest pickleball concept to open its doors, and it comes with some clever additions, like a restaurant and bar.

Here’s a look at what to expect when you visit.

More ahead for Pickle & Pour

Right now, Pickle & Pour features seven courts for you to play, practice and enjoy with friends. But there’s more to come in the next few months.

Owner Eshaan filled us in on what’s coming soon:

  • Games
  • Lounge area
  • Pro shop

What grabbed our attention most—a restaurant and bar.

“We’re working on getting a restaurant and bar so you can come in, play, and once you are done, go to the restaurant, have some drinks and bring their family.
That’s the whole point of Pickle & Pour—so people can bring their families here.”

Eshaan also said they hope to expand the business to include multiple locations by next year. Think downtown Birmingham and Highway 280.

Birmingham already has plenty of public pickleball courts, but Eshaan said Pickle & Pour will add even more fun to the community.

“Birmingham is unique in that we have a ton of great public courts, but they don’t all have lights for when it’s dark or you have to be outside in the rain or cold.
This is another place to come and enjoy the sport we’ve all come to love, find some unique events, join a community of players—and most importantly—have some fun.”
