New game show experience coming to The Summit
Reading time: 2 minutes

Back in December, we shared that a new escape room was on the way to The Summit—and now we’ve got even more exciting details. A nationally loved interactive entertainment brand, The Escape Game, is bringing its immersive adventures to Birmingham’s favorite outdoor shopping destination.
The new location will occupy the former Pottery Barn Kids space at 300 Summit Blvd., Suite 102, and is expected to open this February.
Read on for all the details.
Escape rooms and a live game show vibe

Renderings reveal the addition of Great Big Game Show a high-energy, mock game show experience operated by the same parent company as The Escape Game. Think bright lights, buzzers and head-to-head challenges that make you feel like you just stepped onto a TV set.
The Escape Game, headquartered in Nashville, operates more than 46 locations across 24 states. Each venue features story-driven escape rooms where players work together to solve puzzles, uncover clues and beat the clock.
Pair that with the fast-paced competition of Great Big Game Show, and you’ve got a full night-out experience in one stop.
Big changes are happening at The Summit
This addition comes during a season of transition for The Summit. Recent updates include:
- Sgt. Peppers by Dear Prudence will close mid-January
- Solidcore opened a new Pilates studio
- The Royal Standard recently opened
- Frutta Bowls closed its doors in August after a seven-year run
With a mix of openings and closings, The Summit continues to evolve its lineup of shopping, dining and now, experience-driven fun.
Opening dates and game themes are still to come—but start planning your next team outing, date night or friend hangout now. Things are about to get game on at The Summit.
