Beloved Birmingham bookstore is getting bigger in 2026

Thank You Books, the independent bookstore in Birmingham’s Crestwood neighborhood, announced it is expanding in 2026.

The beloved bookstore is moving into the space next door that was home to The Total Joint Physical Therapy.

In other good news, The Total Joint is not closing, but relocating a few doors down within the Crestwood Village Shopping Center near to Sojourns Fair Trade.

Founded in 2019, Thank You Books has received numerous accolades locally and nationally. In 2022, the bookstore was named one of the best women-led bookstores in the USA by popular media outlet, Thrillist. 

Located at 5502B Crestwood Blvd, this is the store’s second expansion in its brief history.
