Charles Scribner, executive director, Black Warrior Riverkeeper called the Tuesday night Earth Day event a unifying moment with families and children of all ages.

“Everyone needs clean water, and everyone can play a role in protecting it. That’s the unifying lesson we are bringing to kids through these free Birmingham Public Library events with Birmingham City Councilor Clinton Woods and Shaheed and DJ Supreme. Black Warrior Riverkeeper appreciates Slug from Atmosphere amplifying this message through his latest collaboration with our local hip hop partners.”
