Indian Springs School is home to state-of-the-art studios, concert halls + more
Whether students work with their voices, lenses, fingers or brushes, creative expression is always encouraged at Indian Springs.
The faculty believes a solid foundation in the arts provides skills and abilities that go far beyond the classroom.
Students interested in the arts are encouraged to stretch their wings in the following programs:
- Choir
- Contemporary Music
- Instrumental Music
- Theatre
- Visual Arts
Through a mix of modern and classic practices, these programs and the faculty that teach them create an inclusive atmosphere with the help of Indian Springs’ small class sizes.
Samantha King proves this by her involvement in the theatre department, choir and contemporary music ensemble.
“We have varsity basketball players walking into chamber choir rehearsals straight from a game on Monday night.
At Indian Springs, you’re encouraged to explore different areas of study and mix and match extracurricular activities, which creates an environment that celebrates growth and authentic self-expression.”

Indian Spring School’s internationally-recognized choir
Lee Wright has been Indian Springs’ Director of Choral Music for five years, but his attributions don’t stop there.
He also oversees all aspects of the choral program, teaches Music History, Class Voice and is the Music Director for the yearly musical.
“I really enjoy working with students from all over the U.S. and from multiple countries around the world.
I also enjoy the flexibility our school provides students to help them be successful in whatever they are passionate about, including the arts.”
Lee Wright, Director of Choral Music, Indian Springs School
The Indian Springs Choir has traveled and performed worldwide, making themselves well-known.
This past year, Wright took the Chamber Choir to Slovakia, Czech Republic and Austria.
The New York Times described the choir’s Lincoln Center debut as “a superb projection that would have done credit to any professional chorus.”
