Alec Baldwin appears to be filming a project on Morris Avenue Tuesday morning, according to social media posts.

Film crews have been buzzing around the city for the last few weeks, most notably marked with prop “NYPD” cars.

Possible sightings have been discussed on social media at several locations in addition to Morris Avenue, including near Prevail Union coffee shop.

Jim Gaffigan has also been mentioned on social media as a possible co-star.

No official information regarding the film has been publicly released.

Bringing production to the Magic City

Birmingham has put in an active effort to attract more film and TV production to the city, most recently earlier this year.

In January, the Birmingham City Council approved new funding agreeing to allocate $160,000 to Create Birmingham, a nonprofit invested in the economic development of the region’s creative industry.
