The 2025 Trailblaze Challenge, presented by Make-A-Wish Alabama and America’s Thrift Stores, is a one-day, 26.3-mile trek through the iconic Pinhoti Trail in the Talladega National Forest. Participants will enjoy a concierge-style adventure with food, transportation and trail support, making it an unforgettable journey for hikers of all levels.

“With every step along the Pinhoti Trail, hikers aren’t just conquering mountains—they’re helping grant wishes that provide hope and joy to children who need it most.”
Valerie Cunningham-Trainer, Vice President of Advancement, Make-A-Wish

Make-A-Wish Alabama is the local chapter of the beloved, national nonprofit organization dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of children with critical illnesses. Since its founding, the Alabama chapter has granted more than 1,700 wishes to children throughout the state.

Registration for the Trailblaze Challenge opens on January 11, 2025. Sign up for a mandatory, no-commitment information session today.
