Labor Day Weekend in Birmingham
Cheers, Birmingham. (Bham Now)

We asked our audience on social media:

I combed through all of the responses and picked out the top Birmingham cocktail names. Keep reading to see which one of your suggestions made the list.

1. The 205

Our local area code mixed with a local favorite. This cocktail would be a mix of Birmingham’s own Buffalo Rock ginger ale and Maker’s Mark whiskey bourbon.

2. Vulcan

I always love a good homage to our favorite local icon. This drink would be a mix of sweet tea, Southern Comfort and lemon.

3. Paint me a Birmingham

We all know and love Tracy Lawrence’s classic song “Paint me a Birmingham”. This would be a delicious and iconic drink.

This drink was suggested to have Jager, Rumple Minze and grenadine served as a shot with a Pabst Blue Ribbon.

4. The Alex Shunnarah

Everyone’s favorite billboard getting some is getting some representation here as a fabulous cocktail. Someone suggested it to be a mix of local Redmont Vodka mixed with Grapico.

5. Birmingham Mule

I’ll definitely be adding this one to my “to-make” list. Try with a mix of Redmont Vodka, lime juice and Buffalo Rock ginger ale.

Which one of these do you think is Bham’s new signature? Let us know on Facebook and Instagram!
