Birmingham native Emma Lembke has been named to Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
Forbes 30 Under 30 highlights the youngest and coolest people who are doing amazing things all over the country. These smart and talented young leaders are changing the world with their big ideas and hard work.
Lembke founded the LOG OFF Movement, a campaign dedicated to helping young people take control of their digital lives by encouraging intentional breaks from social media and technology.
Through her advocacy, she empowers individuals to prioritize mental health and well-being in an increasingly screen-saturated world.
Altamont School Graduate
Lembke, a graduate of The Altamont School in Birmingham founded the LOG OFF movement during her senior year of high school. The goal; to inspire healthier online habits and promote a more mindful approach to social media.
Driven by her passion for supporting young people in navigating the digital world, she created the initiative to raise awareness and encourage positive change. This passion led her to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
What is LOG OFF?
LOG OFF is a youth-led organization dedicated to helping young people foster healthier relationships with social media and online platforms. In the coming year, they hope to have 20 different chapters.
The group’s mission is to empower kids, teens, and young adults with the tools and knowledge to navigate the online world in a positive way. LOG OFF seeks to create lasting change in how young people interact with technology and prioritize their mental health.
