Woodlawn Theatre celebrates one year in Birmingham with exciting anniversary concert

It’s been one year since Birmingham’s newest music venue, Woodlawn Theatre, opened on 1st Ave N. To celebrate, Woodlawn Theatre is hosting an anniversary party on Friday, November 15.
The night will be full of music, local artists and fundraising that will go towards keeping the theatre alive and thriving. Keep reading for all the details, plus how you can support the Woodlawn community.
Woodlawn Theatre’s One Year Anniversary Celebration

All tickets include entry, one drink and a special anniversary keepsake to take home.
Local food truck Dirty Red will also be on site serving burgers, wraps and more.
Celebrating one year in style
Since its opening last year, the theatre has hosted over 150 concerts and private events, from weddings to corporate parties and community celebrations.
The Woodlawn Theatre’s first anniversary celebration will start with a lively happy hour with jazz pianist Anthony Morris followed by a performance by jazz fusion band Queen City Avenue.
Then, the space will transform into a dance floor to make way for a special set from Birmingham’s own DJ Supreme.
This crucial fundraiser will support future shows, events and operations at the Woodlawn Theatre– donate to support the Woodlawn Theatre and Birmingham’s beloved music scene.
