It’s a sad time for craft beer lovers of Birmingham.

Only a week after the official closure of Ghost Train Brewing, another local brewery—Hi-Wire Brewing located in Lakeview Green—has shut its doors permanently.

The decision to close the Birmingham location comes after Hurricane Helene devastated the East Coast, including Asheville, which is home to the headquarters for Hi-Wire Brewing.
