Meet the family of dental experts
Dr. John Haywood’s interest in dentistry began at a very young age—learning everything he knows from his father and longtime beloved dentist Dr. Tim Haywood.
After earning his undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama, Dr. John Haywood went on to pursue his doctorate at the UAB School of Dentistry where he met his now wife Dr. Jessie Haywood.
Since graduating together in 2019, the dental dynamic duo hit the ground running, building a practice where you don’t have to dread visiting the dentist.
“I love interacting with patients and watching them leave happier than when they came in.
So many people are scared of coming to the dentist. We have the opportunity to change that narrative and make someone’s experience better than they imagined it would be.”

Life beyond the dental chair
Outside of the amazing work they do in the office, Doctors John and Jessie Haywood live a busy and beautiful life.
In the short time since they opened their practice, they’ve already engaged in community outreach by visiting a local retirement community to educate residents about oral health.
On top of this, they have two children, 18-month-old Charlotte and 11-week-old Jackson, who help keep their hands full and hearts happy.

Though the Haywoods perform a wide range of procedures, two things always remain the same—patient comfort and satisfaction.

Whether treating a small cavity or performing a full smile makeover, it’s clear that the couple is genuinely passionate about the work they do.
