Santos Coffee reopened on September 16th in Gardendale after upgrading its lobby and space, just off Highway 31.

Formerly a Wendy’s restaurant, the coffee shop is owned by sisters Wendy Padilla-Madden and Katie Ellis. The Gardendale shop is Santos’ seventh location in the Birmingham metro area. 

Located at 1009 Fulton Avenue, the refreshed lobby is a great spot for catching up with friends or a low-key coffee date.

For folks unfamiliar with Santos Coffee each cup of coffee served at Santos is carefully crafted beans from their family’s farms in Guatemala.

Below are some items on their menu. 

  • Crop to Cup Coffee: Latte, Cafe Mocha, Espresso and much more
  • Smoothies: Bananabeery, Mango and Harvest Greens
  • Specialty Drinks: Cafe Nutella, Mint Latte
  • Breakfast: bagels, pastries, sausage egg and cheese sandwiches
  • Healthy bowls
