The Homewood High School Patriot Marching Band has been invited to participate in the “Grandaddy of Them All®” — The Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasedena, California.

“We are so excited for the next group of Homewood students to get to experience one of the premier parades in the world!”

Homewood’s 6th Rose Parade appearance

Homewood is the largest band in the state of Alabama with over 375 students. This will be their 6th appearance at the Rose Parade which began in 1890. In 2022, the Patriots led the parade, after a two-year interruption because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Homewood Patriot Band regularly performs at major holiday parades across the country including the Macy’s Parade. This year, the band performed at the St.Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland.
