October 1 marks the beginning of spooky season. (Sorry, I don’t make the rules). It’s time to dust that broomstick off and dig in your cauldron for your coolest witch fit.

Grab your calendar and get ready to ride, because we’ve got five Witches Rides happening this month across the Greater Birmingham Area.

1. Trussville Witches Ride

Kick off the season with the highly-anticipated Trussville Witches Ride.

Bring your bell bottoms along with your broomstick, because there’s a 70’s-themed after-party following the ride.

  • When:ย Saturday, October 19 | 5PM
  • Where: Cahaba Elementary School,
  • Cost: $35 ($45 day of race)
  • Register | Ages 14+

2. Cahaba Heights Witches Ride

3. Homewood Witches Ride

The Homewood Witches Ride is back for it’s 12th year!

Join 500+ riders and countless spectators in the heart of Homewood. Bring your best witches fit, candy and smiles!

Fun fact: Inspired by โ€œJeweled Angel,โ€ Paula Stringfellow Ford, the Homewood Witches Ride ride began as a celebration of the beautiful spirit of the cancer survivors. Now, the Homewood Witches Ride proudly benefits the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB.

4. Bluff Park Witches Ride

Fill that cauldron with plenty of candy, because this witches ride is taking you from Shades Cliff Park to Bluff Park Village Shopping Center.

The party doesn’t end there, though. Hang out at the after-party at The Electric and celebrate with your new best friends!

All proceeds of this event benefit The WellHouse.

5. Star Lake Witches Ride

Benefitting The Green Valley Church Food Bank and bringing fun for all, the Star Lake Witches Ride is the perfect way to close out a month of haunting.
