Grimaldi’s, a New York-based pizzeria has officially landed in the Hoover neighborhood.

The legendary coal-fired pizza has been providing mouthwatering pies and unbeatable flavors for over 30 years.

Stadium Trace Village is now home to Alabama’s 2nd Grimaldi’s, with the first being located in Huntsville.

This casual yet fine-dining experience uses coal-fired brick ovens to add a special New York flare to the crust. They also use freshly made mozzarella and tomatoes. Their special ingredient? Head Chef Hector Godinez us they use New York water to enhance taste and cleanliness.

“We try to keep everything as traditional, authentic and as Italian as we can make it with an additional New York flair. Hence why we have the bottled lights on the ceiling and music to get the vibe going.

Grimaldi’s partners with No Kid Hungry, an organization that combats childhood hunger nationwide. They also raise donations annually to provide healthy meals to feed kids all over the country.
