The Black Leaf Cigar Company, an exclusive cigar lounge located in the heart of West Birmingham, opened last month.
They offer a wide range of international tobacco and a cozy environment.

A cigar for everyone
If you were to ask Birmingham native James Spencer what the Magic City is lacking, he would tell you a place to just chill and smoke cigars.
James, a retired U.S. Army Colonel, has served our country for 32 years. After getting out of the service, he found a passion for business and entrepreneurship.
Now, James is finally getting to live out his dream of owning a business. The Black Leaf Cigar Company, a product of James’s hard work and determination, strives to serve communities who often don’t have access to premium, hand-rolled cigars.
“The concept of the Black Leaf Cigar Company came about to be able to provide premium handrolled cigars to a primarily disenfranchised community that has previously had to travel 30 minutes or more to more affluent areas of town to get cigars and a safe, enjoyable social scene.”

This high-end cigar lounge is anything but average.
The hang-out offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for grabbing some friends and watching a game.
“We have something for everyone from the cigar aficionado to the new smoker, both can expect a wide variety of tobaccos from the growing regions of the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua, Cameroon, and the Far East.
We also offer the patrons tips on cigar etiquette which help the guests enjoy their cigar.”

Not a smoker? No problem!
At The Black Leaf Cigar Company you can enjoy everyone’s company and celebrate with friends.
For those that do smoke, you can find fresh tobacco imported from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua, Cameroon and the Far East.
You can also enjoy membership to this exclusive lounge and be one of the first people to enjoy an additional seating area being added outside.
