Born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, Aniel Oseguera has been part of the Market and Investment Risk Team at Protective for two years.

This team’s job is to analyze internal and external events that could impact the performance of the company’s investments.

Alexis Banks graduated from Pleasant Grove High School, then got a BS in Accounting from The University of Alabama and an MBA from UAB with a concentration in Finance.

She’s been at Protective for one year, where she’s part of the Reinsurance Accounting Team. In this role, she researches and provides insight regarding financial trend analysis as it relates to reinsurance activity.

  • Favorite non-work things: Pilates, cycling, traveling, trying new restaurants, volunteering + spending time with loved ones

Eric Hess grew up in Huffman and currently lives in Liberty Park. He graduated from The University of Alabama with a double major in International Commerce and Spanish.

Eric has been with Protective for a year and a half, where he serves as Director of Talent Acquisition. In this role, he and his team oversee the strategic recruitment and hiring processes for the organization.

Jamie Lane grew up in the Birmingham area, graduated from UAB with a BS in Accounting, and is married with three daughters.

Sheโ€™s been working at Protective for almost 14 years where she currently serves as the Vice President of Protection Operations.

Her role is to build genuine relationships with distribution partners and deliver a superior service experience through digital innovation and personalized engagement.

She strives to take care of her employees and distribution partners, ensuring each one feels empowered, confident and experiences operational excellence.
