A new luxury apparel store is coming soon to The Summit! Read on to learn more about Peter Millar’s newest location—the first in Alabama—and its grand opening on July 17.

Founded in 2001 by Greg Oakley, Chet Sikorski and Chris Knott, the Peter Millar brand began by offering a single cashmere sweater. Since then, the company has expanded its offerings to a variety of clothing options, such as:

Coming to The Summit on July 17
Peter Millar’s 20th store will be located at The Summit in Birmingham. To celebrate, The Summit + Peter Millar will be hosting a grand opening ceremony on Wednesday, July 17.

Peter Millar is the latest addition to The Summit, following several new openings and “coming soon” announcements such as:
- Mizzen+Main, a clothing store specializing in comfortable menswear
- gorjana, a Southern California-based jewelry brand
- Culinary Dropout, a restaurant developed by James Beard-nominated restaurateur Sam Fox
- Rowan, a woman-owned and operated piercing shop
