About the event
If you live in Trussville like I do, you know there are tons of great spots to grab a meal.
On Thursday, May 9, an amazing list of eateries will join together for one delicious night during the 15th annual Taste of Trussville.
Each year, the event grows in popularity with more participating vendors and guests.

Here’s what to expect at Taste of Trussville this year:
- Tasty food + delectable desserts from 20+ local restaurants + bakeries serving samples of their signature dishes. (Full list of vendors below!)
- Live music from jazz guitarist Cashmere Williams.
- Free soft drinks + water from the Birmingham Coca-Cola booth.
- The chance to vote for your Crowd Favorite vendor. The winner will receive an award presented by Trussville to Go.
Your support goes a long way
Taste of Trussville is such a fun community event. Here’s why you need to go:
- You’ll be supporting local eateries.
- You’ll bring in funds so the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce can host more great events throughout the year.
- You’ll be part of keeping the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund possible. It’s a fund that annually awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors to help them further their education.

One thing I love about Taste of Trussville is that it kicks off another great local event—Trussville Restaurant Week (TRW).
From Friday, May 10 to Sunday, May 26 (that’s 16 days!), TRW shines a spotlight on the city’s many restaurants as they showcase flavorful menus and hot deals.
