Super Chix to open 2nd Birmingham area location on April 11

Super Chix, a chicken sandwich and custard joint, is opening a new location on Highway 280 near Brook Highland on April 11.

The restaurant’s 2nd spot in the Birmingham area is located in the former Krispy Kreme, next to the newly opened Cookie Fix at 5357 US-280 suite 102. Gourmet chicken sandwiches and cookies? Now that’s a match made in foodie heaven!

Super Chix favorites

Bham Now talked to Super Chix co-owner and General manager Perla Chavez about some of her favorites on the menu. Here is what she recommended:

• Bacavo Ranch Sandwich — Chicken Filet with bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato and buttermilk ranch
• Buffalo Ranch Sandwich — Chicken Filet, tossed in Buffalo sauce, pickles and buttermilk ranch
• Chichen Tenders with 8 different sauces
• Loaded Fries 
• Cold Fusion Custard with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup

This is the 2nd Super Chix in the Birmingham area. The first restaurant opened in early 2020 at Stadium Trace in Hoover. There are two additional restaurants in the Huntsville area.

Super Chix: Open 7 days a week 

According to Chavez, the new Highway 280 location will be open 7 days a week, 10:30AM – 9:00PM.
