Furnace Fest drops lineup for 2024 festival, “The End of an Era”

Today, legendary Birmingham hardcore and metal music festival Furnace Fest released its 2024 lineup.

Furnace Fest 2024 Lineup
Over the past few months, local music festival Furance Fest has been slowly unveiling the lineup for their 2024 festival. On Wednesday, March 20, festival organizers released a massive chunk of the lineup.

Headliners for the three-day festival—which takes place at Sloss Furnaces—are:

- Saturday — Coheed and Cambria
- Sunday — Underoath

Several of the acts are local bands, including Commodity, Cold Hard Steel and Delta Hate. Additional acts will be added to the lineup later this year.
Furnace Fest 2024, “The End of an Era”
From 2000 to 2003, the original Furnace Fest brought incredible punk, hardcore and metal acts—and their fans—to The Magic City. In 2019, a group of four friends set out to replicate the original Furnace Fest in a one-time event.
Although the new iteration of Furnace Fest was postponed by the pandemic, it finally returned in 2021. After putting on the event in 2022 and 2023, the festival’s organizers announced that 2024 would be the “End of an Era” for Furnace Fest as we know it.
Furnace Fest 2024 will take place from October 4-6 at Sloss Furnaces.
